Another Bear Market Rally Ended 又一个熊市反弹结束

After 6 days and on average 7% rally from their June lows, major market indexes failed to break above their 20 day moving average resistances and are turning back down. Another bear market rally has ended. Now the indexes are all below their 20,50 and 200 day moving averages, their short, intermediate and long term trends are all down. They are likely to go down and test their June low prices again. June lows for the Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite are 29912, 3636 and 10565. Q2 earning season is around the corner, weakness in earnings and downbeat future projections and interest rate hike in July are likely to drag the stock market lower. There is no signed for a bottom yet as the Fear Gauge VIX is still at around 30 while the VIX levels for previous market bottoms were ranging from 41 to 85.  Don't fight market trend, don't fight interest rate trend are the mottos to follow, strategy is sell on rallies. 

Due to heavy losses in today's European stock markets, it is not likely the US stock market can stop falling today. As of 7 AM Pacific time: Dax -2.66%, FTSE 2.49%, CAC -2.74%.

I passed my Pi KYC last night! I am a Validator now and have done 21 validations. There is a natural strong sense of responsibility to do the jobs right once I am on it. It takes me 1-2 minutes to do each. As more Validators are on the job, KYC will be done faster and faster. Pi's success is in sight.

The full name of KYC is Know Your Customer, and Pi's KYC program is used to authenticate the real-name identity of the participating miners. After the Pioneer successfully passed KYC, when the Mainnet of the Pi coin blockchain is publicly launched, the Pi coins mined by the Pioneer will be transferred to the wallet and can be spend. So the day when KYC is completed is when Pi become successful.

Investors are not fearful enough for the market to bottom yet. The Fear Gauge VIX is only around 33. In history, the previous tops are 53.29 in 2015, 50.30 in 2018 and 85.47 in 2020. US Stock Indexes May Drop Below Recent Lows美国股指可能会跌破近期低点

Major US market indexes slide this morning with Dow, S&P and Nasdaq are down 774, 110 and 376 respectively. The followings are some of the reasons:

1. May CPI came in at +8.6% compares to same time last year, highest since 1981. Consensus is +8.2%.

2. Famous hedge fund manager Stanley Druckenmiller said the bear market has a way to run.

3. European stock markets are down 2.5% on average.

4. TSLA (2.5%) expects Shanghai production output in Q2 to drop by 1/3.

5. Goldman Sachs downgraded NFLX (-4.6%) from Neutral to Sell, price target drops from 265 to 186.

6. DOCU dropping over 22% on earnings miss.

Today's down turn on the market will likely last for the whole day today and early next week before the Federal Reserve makes interest rate decision on Wednesday. There is a possibility that major indexes may drop below their recent lows.

DIDI May Have Bottomed DIDI或已见底

DiDi  Global (DIDI)  surged more than 50% in early trading after the Wall Street Journal reported that Chinese government officials will not only call a halt to their long-running probe of DiDi , but put an end to a ban on DiDi adding new users to its platform. The move will allow DiDi's  app to be available again on app stores in China as early as this week.

Technically, DIDI formed a break away gap above the 2.5 resistance with nearly 5 times average daily volume. The stock has formed a bullish Head and Shoulder bottom and momentum is higher.  It is a good buy near the 2.5 support, Short term targets are 3.5 to 4.5. DIDI is down 86% from all time high even after today's surge.

In conclusion: Pi is not a scam. Pi is revolutionary, the newest, with most advance and up to date technology and has tremendous potential. Pi is free and easy to mine. I don't understand why people are scare of getting involve in such a great project. I don't understand why people are bashing it since it does no harm to them. -Elon Musk admitted that  he has "super bad feeling" about the economy and indicated that TSLA needs to cut about 10% of its staff. 

-Morgan Stanley analyst said "TSLA's Q2 could wind up being a substantial miss".

-Just dropped back below 20 day moving average  at 733 after strong bounce, trend resumes down.

Problems with AAPL:

-PEG 2.48, 148% above fair value.

-2 analysts see App Store growth could be slowing and could lead to weak service revenue/ .

-Just dropped back below 20 day moving average at 146 after strong bounce, trend resumes down.

-AAPL only dropped 20% from all time high, it is the least drop among big techs. Other big techs dropped much more than that.

TSLA 的问题：

Bear Market Rally Is Over 熊市反弹结束

 US stocks opened down sharply on the following negative news:

-Elon Musk said he has a "super bad feeling" about the economy and indicated that TSLA needs to cut about 10% of its staff. TSLA is down nearly 7%.

-Piper Sandler downgraded MU from Neutral to Underweight, target from 90 to 70, citing oversized exposure to consumer electronics. MU is down nearly 7%.

-Mega tech stocks are down over 2% on average: AAPL-3.25, QCOM-2.75%, NVDA -3,37%, AMZN -2.46%, GOOG -2.26%.

-US May confirm payroll came in +390K Vs 325K expectation. Stronger payroll report increases chance of Fed tightening.

Technically, major market indexes have hit resistances after a strong bounce from May lows. Resistances are Nasdaq Composite 12300. S&P 500 4200 and Dow Jones Industrial 33250. Market is likely to resume its down trend to retest May lows at Nasdaq11035, S&P 500 3810 and Dow 30635. Federal Reserve is to decide on interest rate hike on June 15 and Q2 earnings to start on second week of July will likely pressure the US stock market in the near term. SQQQ, SOXS and UVXY are good ways to participate on the market's down turn.

Usually when the S&P 500 goes up, the fear index VIX goes down. Sometimes this relationship diverges, that is when S&P 500 goes up, the fear index VIX also goes up. If this happens, some sell programs may  ready to be executed and push the S&P 500 down. It is time to be cautious.
