DiDi Global (DIDI) surged more than 50% in early trading after the Wall Street Journal reported that Chinese government officials will not only call a halt to their long-running probe of DiDi , but put an end to a ban on DiDi adding new users to its platform. The move will allow DiDi's app to be available again on app stores in China as early as this week.
Technically, DIDI formed a break away gap above the 2.5 resistance with nearly 5 times average daily volume. The stock has formed a bullish Head and Shoulder bottom and momentum is higher. It is a good buy near the 2.5 support, Short term targets are 3.5 to 4.5. DIDI is down 86% from all time high even after today's surge.
