Pi is the crypto currency among all that is closest to being the world's currency.
Pi has never done ICO as most crypto do, but some exchanges have offered Pi IOU trading. The Pi IOUs are already trading at a good price of around $40 per IOU.
I believe Pi is the best free mining crypto project around and it could become the first crypto currency that people of the world use daily for bartering and transactions, and in this sense it completes Bitcoin's original vision but never able to fulfill due technological limitations.
