Pi made a major mile stone on December 28, 2021: Pi Enclosed Mainnet is now live! The Enclosed Mainnet phase means the Mainnet blockchain is firewalled to prohibit external connectivity but allows peer-to-peer and peer-to-app transfers within the enclosed network. The Open main net is projected release dates are on March 14, 2022, June 28,2022 or later depend on the readiness of the Main Net. This period is when Pi can be transfered freely in and out of the Pi network and may be listed and trade on exchanges. This means users have more time to mine before the Open Mainnet is released. Pi will be capped at 100 billion and mining will stop after 100 million users are reached. After the Open Main Net is released, Pi may then have a monetary value once it get listed on exchanges. It could be any value, so mining as much Pi as you can in the time before the Open Main Net is launched is the way to go. When I look back on the price performances of many cryptos, they could increase hundreds of pecents after they have listed on exchanges. So, for those already mining Pi don't forget to retrigger mining every 24 hours. As for those who have not join yet, it is still time to join.
