When Charts Go Vertical Up, Sell 当图表垂直上升时，卖出

It is already bad that the stock market surges in disconnect with the economy and defies bad news on COVID-19, some stocks are really running crazy. When fundamental and technical doesn't matter, you know that things have gone haywire, bad things will follow. When the buying actions are irrational should we follow? Definitely not because we are rational. When people calm down and become rational, stocks will crash. It is especially true on stocks that have ran up multi-hundred percent in a very short period of time and their price charts go vertical. I am presenting two companies below as examples of frothiness. Even though they are in the hot Electric Vehicle sector led by Tesla (TSLA) but their fundamental can't be 6 times better then before all of a sudden. A lot of good news has built into the stock prices already. These stocks will drop the most when the market comes down.

Blink Charging Co. (BLNK 7.99 )

Blink Charging Co., through its subsidiaries, owns, operates, and provides electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and networked EV charging services in the United States.

BLNK surged from March low of 1.25 to July high 8.5, a 580% gain in 4 months. Chart is vertical. The company does not have earning. BLNK Price to Book is nearly 42, Price to Sale is 52, change in institution ownership of stock is -42% in the last 6 months. The company has only  67 employees.

NIO Inc. (NIO 14.38)

NIO Limited designs, manufactures, and sells electric vehicles in the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

NIO surged from March low of 2.11 to today's high of 15.28, a whopping 624% in 4 months.  Chart is vertical. The company is still not making money. NIO's Book Value is -$1.1per share, and price to sale is 12. Change in institution ownership of stock is -8%.

蔚来公司（NIO 14.38）
