。Volatility returned with a vengeance to Asia, home to some of the best stock-market returns in the world this year before Monday.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index slumped as much as 2 percent on Monday, heading for its biggest decline since October and erasing monthly gains. Shares in China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan lost more than 1.3 percent, with S&P 500 Index futures dropping as much as 0.7 percent. That’s pushed indexes of equity swings to jumps not yet seen this year. The Nikkei Stock Average Volatility Index soared as much as 31 percent, with similar gauges for Hong Kong, South Korea and Australia also surging. ---Bloomberg

。Ahead of fresh high-level trade talks this week (March 28, Beijing), China is not conceding to U.S. demands to ease curbs on technology companies, the Financial Times reported on Sunday, citing three people briefed on the discussions.The FT report said Beijing had yet to offer “meaningful concessions” to U.S. requests for China to stop discriminating against foreign cloud computing providers, to reduce limits on overseas data transfers and to relax a requirement for companies to store data locally. ---Reurters

。This was supposed to be the week the U.K. left the EU, but following a Brexit extension, Britain will now have until April 12 to offer a new plan or decide to leave the bloc without a treaty. The next few days may also see MPs decide on a variety of Brexit options, including a third vote on Theresa May's Brexit deal as the prime minister faces pressure from all sides. 。Attorney General William Barr says President Donald Trump is cleared legally in the Russia investigation, but the controversy over the probe is far from over. 。Lackluster demand and overseas Model 3 delivery problems will weigh on Tesla's (TSLA) Q1 results, according to a new warning from RBC Capital. The brokerage reiterated its Underperform rating on shares and slashed its price target to $210 from $245, a 14% reduction that implies more than 20% downside over the next year. Registrations of new Tesla vehicles fell significantly from January to February according to the Dominion Cross-Sell Report.---Seeking Alpha
