。Europe alongside US equity futures pressured by disappointing corporate earnings and a dramatic escalation in India-Pakistan hostilities after Pakistan reportedly shot down two Indian fighter jets even as traders brace for a barrage of news including the latest Trump-Kim summit, the Congressional testimony by Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, and the second day of Powell's testimony on the hill this time before Maxine Waters and AOC. 。The bull market, already the longest on record, is about to turn 10 years old and could run at least another year. The S&P 500 is up 313 percent since the closing low 10 years ago on March 9, 2009.
Strategists said if a trade deal comes through with China and economic weakness proves temporary, earnings could be revised higher and the market could continue to climb. ---CNBC

。Crude oil futures rose 1.3% to $56.24/bbl overnight following a decline in U.S. crude inventories and as OPEC seemed to stick to its supply cuts despite pressure from President Trump. "We're taking it easy," Saudi Energy Minister Khalid said at an OPEC symposium in Riyadh. The group is taking a "very slow and measured approach.
