主要股指触及阻力 Major Stock Indexes Hit Resistances

The day before yesterday, the Nasdaq Composite Index and the Russell 2000 both getting very close to their 50 Day Moving Averages 6702 and 1454 respectively and the Dow and the S&P 500 hitting resistances 24000 and 2600 respectively yesterday, US market is dropping sharply this morning.
After major market indexes rising nearly 11% from December 26, 2018 low and hitting resistances, it is only natural a retracement of the recent gain is due. Especially with US government shut down, US-China trade talk still needs to complete and fear of forth coming Q4 earning reports. Apple's recent revenue warning, yesterday Macys and American Airline slashed their earning estimates and today Goldman Sachs downgrading both Starbucks and Yum due to slow down in China don't seem to be good for this earning season. For S&P 500, a retracement down to 2470 to 2500 level is normal.
